I love you.

PROCRASTINATION:  The art of having to clean the bathroom but making a card instead.
I used a couple of my new Creative Expression dies here: (1) Finishing Touches - Daisy Cluster; and (2) Mini Gemini Die - Aquila.  I like how they work together, however I've managed to cover up most of the gemini die... can't leave well enough alone.
Hope you're enjoying your Sunday as well... even if you aren't avoiding housework like I am.... ;)

Back soon,
Carla.

Beating The Heat

Crazy high temperatures here lately.  I don't have air conditioning so I'm continually moving fans around in order to keep cool.  I attempted a card in the mini wind storm I created with 2 fans... needless to say I didn't use glitter... lol.
The stamp is from Verve, the die is from Creative Expressions "Sue Wilson Canadian Collection - Toronto".  Embossing folder is from Spellbinders "Roman Romance E3D-010".
I think I'll wait until tomorrow to clean up my craft room.  ;)

Back soon,
Carla.

Good 'ol lazy Sunday...

Nothing beats a day where there's no work, no pressure and no reason to wear pants LOL.  Yep!  A good ol lazy Sunday in pj's.

Thought I'd try out another one of my Sue Wilson Dies.  This one is the Australian Collection - Sydney.
Once again I used my go-to-flower from Heartfelt Creations "delicate aster".  The background embossing folder is from Nellie's Choice called "little flowers".  The stamp "you make a difference" is actually a very old wood block I have from Hero Arts.  Paper is Bazzel.
I love the pink and brown together.

Well that's it.  Might try another card... or might try a little Netflix.  Hope you are enjoying your Sunday too.

Back soon!

BELLARIFFIC FRIDAY - ONE LAYER WONDER CARD

Okay!  Back for another Bellariffic Friday with Stamping Bella.  This week is a one-layer-wonder-card.  My first thought was O....M....G..... I can't do it.  No layering?
I needed to add some texture so I used embossing folder by Nellie Snellen (Spring is in the Air Square EFE 006).

I decided on Uptown Lucille sends her love.  I fit her inside the little square and added Glossy Accents to the hearts.

I don't have the sentiment that goes with Lucille, so I settled for something else that I thought would match.  Added a few pearls (that's not a layer, right?  lol) and voila I'm done.

Until next time.  :)

Quick Visit to Share a New Card

Hi!  Bought a few dies on the weekend and just wanted to try them out.  The newest of my Sue Wilson dies is the border on this card:
It's the mini gemini die - ARA and I love it!  You can have either side at the end or cut it out altogether. And of course I used my new favorite again... the "Toronto" from the Canadian Collection.  I also added the flower from Heartfelt Creations (delicate aster).
The vertical stitched dies... I also picked up this weekend - they are from Frantic Stamper and I love that the stitches are on the inside AND the outside of the border.

Well that's it from me.  It was nice to be able to try out my new stuff.  Thanks for looking!!

Haven't seen you on line lately...

Hello!  Back today with another Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday challenge.  Today's challenge was a sketch:
And here's my card using Lizzy Laptop by Mo Manning.
Don't you just love Mo Manning art?  So glad Stamping Bella sells the stamps.
I used glossy accents on her laptop --- hard to get a good picture of that though.

Have a wonderful day everyone.  Thanks for stopping by.

What would I do without you?

Back to share another card today.
Made this using the new Sue Wilson dies that I just bought "Canadian Collection - Toronto" along with my new favorite flower, "delicate aster" from Marianne Designs.  I coloured it with my Copics E30-34.
Well that's it for me tonight.  I'm off to bed.

Night all,
Carla

Christmas in July with Stamping Bella

Hello!  This week's Bellariffic Friday is "Christmas in July".  I used Uptown Girl Quinn and Her Boots.
I'm not sure "brown" is really a Christmas colour, but it felt right at the time (doubting myself now that I'm writing the post lol).  I just love this Uptown Girl though from Stamping Bella.
I added some glitter to her cap, boots and ground as well as black liquid pearls for her buttons.  The dies I used are Maryanne's Designs (Parchment & Label), Frantic Stamper (Fishtail Banners), Spellbinders (Labels 10), Memory Box (Crystal Snowflake) and Sizzix Thinlets (Holiday Words).

Thanks for stopping by!

Bought some Sue Wilson dies!!

Absolutely love these dies by Creative Expressions.  Tried out my first card using the Sue Wilson Canadian Collection - Toronto.
I also used the Fancy Edge with Lattice by Marianne Designs... great excuse to use my pearls.

So fun!  I'm off to try another one.

Just back from the craft store.............

.... and had to dive in and try out some of my new dies.
The background is a Marianne's Designs "Parchment & Label".  I love that the background square (in dark brown) is 5"x5" and fits nicely in a 5.5" x 5.5" card.

The flourish heart is one I already had - Memory Box "Queen of Hearts".  The rolled roses are MFT.

I bought a few more of Sue Wilson's from Creative Expressions and can't wait to try those out!!

Back soon,
Carla.

Welcome back for another Bellariffic Friday!

Harry is back for another Stamping Bella Friday Challenge.  Here's the sketch:

This is the first time I think I stuck to the sketch instead of going off on my own tangent.

I used Harry The Stuffie Gets Happy Mail and I coloured him up with Copics E70, 71, 74 & 77.  I added a little R20 to his cheeks and ears. Envelope is coloured with BG10, 11, 13 & 57.  I left the heart white and then covered the envelope with glossy accents.

Well that was fun - can't wait to see what next Friday's theme will be.  Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time,
Carla.

Bellariffic Friday

Hi!  Back again with another Bellariffic Friday Challenge with Stamping Bella.  This week's challenge is to add glitter or bling to your creation.
I used an old favorite of mine:  Uptown Girl Brigitte The Bride.  Added loads of glitter to her dress as well as the window die & the frame.  The background paper is a digital freebie I found ages ago.

DIES:  Poppy Stamps Grand Madison Window / frame made with Lil Inker Designs Stitched Mats & DieNamics Ivy Corner.  The roses are MFT Rolled Roses and the little leaves are from a Martha Stewart punch.

That's it for me.  So happy to take part of these Stamping Bella Challenges!

Until next time,
Carla.

BELLARIFFIC FRIDAY

Back for another Stamping Bella Bellariffic Friday.  Here's the sketch for today:
I chose to change it a bit because I really wanted to use the stamp Rachel Loves The Rain from the Tiny Townies series.
I kinda like how she turned out.  I love the heart puddle and the hearts falling from the sky.  This stamp comes with the sentiment "You are my sunshine when skies are grey" and I've added that to the inside.

DIES:  Lil Inker Designs Stitched Mats / Memory Box Meridian Border

Looking forward to seeing every else's cards on Emily's Blog Post today!!

Bye for now,
Carla

STAMPING BELLA - This week's theme? An INSPIRATION PHOTO...

Today is Bellariffic Friday and this week's theme was to use the colours from the photo above.  I happen to have gobs of supplies for this because these are my favorite colours.  Even my little apartment is covered with these colours... and my bedroom even has a little beachy theme lol.  Anyway, here's my card using these colours:
I used Harry the Stuffie Gets Happy Mail.  Isn't he sweet?  I love the Stuffie Collection.  I coloured Harry with Copic Markers E70, 71, 74 & 77.  It's hard to see in the picture but I used glossy accents on the envelope so it shines beautifully.  I added a tiny little heart embellishment over the drawn heart.
DIES:  Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers / Penny Black Love Expressions / Memory Box Button Border / Frantic Stamper Tufted Cushion Panel / Spellbinders Victorian Pierceabilities

Can't wait to check out all of the other Stamping Bella cards using this colour combo!

Back soon,
Carla.
